“For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward.” [Translation of Surah Al-Hadid, Verse 18]

Abdullah Ibn`Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates (as part of a longer Hadith):

“The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) sent Muadh (May Allah be pleased with him) to Yemen and said,

“Invite the people to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah ﷻ and I am Allah’s Messenger, and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah ﷻ has enjoined on them five prayers in every day and night (in twenty-four hours), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah ﷻ has made it obligatory for them to pay the Zakat from their property and it is to be taken from the wealthy among them and given to the poor.”

(Bukhari)

As the hadith suggests, local needy families living in close proximity to us have a special right upon our Zakat and Sadaqa. The Foundation offers services to facilitate fulfilling this collective obligation.

Foundation seeks to operate on the principle of helping few families but in a way that truly meets their needs. At the same time, we have operationalized a thorough vetting process to make sure only deserving families get the help from the Foundation.

While helping families and individuals to become financially independent is a goal, our limited resources constrain us to focus on helping them to make ends meet. At the same time, we are careful and diligent in how we disburse funds and believe in encouraging people to always find ways to work their way towards self-sufficiency.

Finally, 100% of your charity would go towards helping the needy. The operating cost for The Foundation are paid for by well-wishers in the community.

All donations are tax-deductible. As Zakat and Sadaqa have different fiqh rulings for disbursement please make sure you clearly mark on your checks if the charity is Zakat or Sadaqa. Please send your Zakat-ul-Mal and Sadaqa checks to the following address:
